NVHF Selects Grantee Partners Advancing Health Equity and Building Social Connectedness
By: Northern Virginia Health FoundationEarlier this fall, Northern Virginia Health Foundation (NVHF) announced an end-of-year grant opportunity to support capacity building for organizations with deep community engagement and funding for organizations to support greater social connectedness, which leads to healthier communities. NVHF is delighted to announce the following organizations as grantee partners:

These two grants – investing in the capacity of the nonprofit sector, and supporting local initiatives led by community residents – present a vital opportunity to build a healthier Northern Virginia. We’re incredibly proud of the variety of solutions these organizations put forward to advance health equity and we look forward to seeing how their work positively impacts the region.
NVHF will also continue to provide general operating support to its Health Safety Net grantees: Arlington Free Clinic, Greater Prince William Community Health Center, HealthWorks for Northern Virginia, Neighborhood Health, Northern Virginia Dental Clinic, Northern Virginia Family Service, and NOVA ScriptsCentral.
The Foundation received an overwhelming response to the grant opportunity. There is great and inspiring work happening in our community.
